4 WEEKS – Alteration Course

Duration 2 hours 10.30 till 12.30 @ Sewing-Sanctuary
Cost £95
This is a basic alteration course where you will be leaning to

1. Heming trousers
2. Replacing zip on either a skirt /trouser or dress
3. Take in a dress
4. Waist in on trousers

On each week you will be learning how to measure, cut and and remake to a high standard.
You will need to bring in one or a couple of items of clothes that are too big or too long.
You will then be working in pairs to learn to pin correctly and then to alter to your requirements.
Your teacher will be Louise who also has her own alteration station at Sewin-Sanctuary and many
years of doing alteration and repairs.

Bring your own sewing machine too if possible and threads you will need for the item of clothing you
are altering
