Class detail
This course is suitable for EXPERIENCED Beginners. You will learn very basic techniques with tutor Sarah Patterson who is an owner of sewing-sanctuary.
You need to bring your own sewing machine, scissors, ruler, notions… at the moment, we can not provide our sewing machines and other equipment. If you don’t have any sewing-machine, you can notice us in advance.
During this class you will lean the following techniques
Week 1 – Knowing, how to use right tools
- rotary cutter
- inch rulers
- measurement
Week 2 – assemble quilting and patchwork
- how to cut accurate fabric cut and put patchwork together
Week 3 – How to insert zip
- Learning how to put a zip on a bag
- Precise cutting and measurement
Week 4 – Simple Tote Bag
- Use webbing
- How to insert a magnetic clasp
- How to use iron-on interfacing or wadding
